December Holidays

Salam my blog friends,

It’s the Month of December when everyone’s taking their break from their busy schedule. Also to gear up yet another challenging year ahead of us, Year 2013.

I had my 3 Days and 2 Nights short vacation to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. (Yeah, another trip to Malaysia). I think next year I should probably stop having short vacations to Malaysia,.. it’s time to break free and fly to other neighborhood country like Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and to Korea maybe?

Ok let’s get back to the subject, my parents and I went to this beautiful French-Themed Village (according to Wikipedia)  which is located at Berjaya Hills, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang, Malaysia. The development is inspired by the original town of Colmar in AlsaceFrance, with elements taken from ancient surrounding villages like RiquewihrTurckheim and Kaysersberg as well { Link here ; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colmar_Tropicale }

You will be expose to nature beauty from the Japanese Village. If you are a nature lover you will fall in love with the breeze, the magnificent view of the place. Surrounded by the beautiful tropical trees and its like you will have that ‘Twilight’ feeling when you are surrounded by the tall, huge and beautiful Araucarias (Picture below). Not to forget pretty flowers!

You need 101 per cent of energy to climb the stairs to Japanese Village and you must have pretty strong legs to climb up the hills!

Next up, my parents and I went to the beautiful Colmar Tropicale;

Believe it or not, it really looks like you are in France. With the cold breeze, the feeling is there! Pretty villages, magnificent view of jungles. As you climb up the tower (don’t worry they have lift), you can see the whole area of Colmar Tropicale. You also can see Cameron Highland’s Tea Plantation! The BIG NO-NO-NO is the food, restaurant food cost a bomb! RM19 and above! I brought an Magnum Ice Cream for RM6? Normal price in Malaysia would be around RM4? Do take note; Do bring along food and drinks before you climb here.

Insha’Allah someday I might travel to the Original Place itself. With God’s will, with the money I saved.

Till here readers.

Love,

Sunday Morning;

Salam Readers!

Hello Readers!

It’s a beautiful Sunday, waking up to see my Band of Birds (if you follow me on Instagram you know what I mean) outside of my window. Yeahs, it’s been ages since the last time I saw them hanging around outside of my window. A busy lady I am. Hee. (:

How do I spend my lovely Sunday?

Updating my work schedule, checking emails and preparing administrative stuff for tomorrow’s ‘meet-the-parents-session’. To also come up with new worksheets for my students during their work time. (My kids they love worksheets!) And I love preparing worksheets for them too! Yes a hardworking person I am. (:

Other than work stuff, I would do blog-hopping! Or going to Tumblr! You can follow me on Tumblr; http://letsrunandescape.tumblr.com/ ! Mostly I turn on my fangirling mode when I’m on Tumblr, so don’t mind my spam! HEE! 🙂

See I told you, mostly I will reblog post like; Manchester United, My Koreans Boyfriends, Hijab Fashion Styles and and and my favorite boybands! WOHOOOOO! Ok Stop it Herda (:

Other than that, I will turn on my Itunes and sing my heart out while surfing the net!

and last but not least; EAT CHIPS!

Hmm, how about you? How do you spend your lovely Sunday? (:

Been ages;

Assalamualaikum!

Hello fellow readers, I know this blog have been collecting dust for almost 3 months? I’m sorry for the lack of updates. Been really busy with working life. If you are still wondering what I am working as; I’ll let you know as I blog this. Yes, as you can see I have change my URL to ‘ladywiththehijab’, and discard the previous blog name (‘letsrunandescape’), nothing personal reasons though for discarding it. I feel like there’s a need to change the URL. Hmm, maybe kinda a mature link? hah, ok lame. Ok let’s start with a proper update!

So you must be curious about my working life isn’t? Plus my love life and etc,.. I’ll help you to answer those questions. Ready?

  1. What are you working as? I am working as a Teacher Aide (Teacher Assistant) in a special needs school. Yes, I am assisting the Teacher with kids with special needs such as Autism, ADHD (Hyper Active) and many other needs.
  2. What is Autism? – Autism is a lifelong condition that affects the way a person relates and communicates with others. A person with Autism, generally has impairment in his or her communicative, social interaction and imaginative abilities. However, it is important to let you know that autism is not a mental condition. (extracted from http://www.autismsg.org/autism/index.html)
  3. How long have you been working in this line? I am quite new to this line, I started off as an intern early this year (January 2012) for at least 3 months. After I internship ends, my supervisor asked me whether I would like to continue working in this line because they received feedback from teachers that I do really work well with the kids and the teachers too. ( I’m not trying to boast myself,.. because seriously I love kids, and you should take a note of that) I start in early April and till now,………
  4. Do you enjoy working here? – Absolutely, YES! I love working here eventhough I might face challenges everyday at work. Did you know I love challenges? I don’t like sitting and do nothing? I don’t mind playing catching with them, hehe. The number 1 thing I like working here is, I adore kids. Eventhough they are not normal like the other kids, to me they are the special ones. The one that God send from heaven. I love them more than any other kids. They will make you melt, they will cherish you more than others. May God bless them all (:

That’s all for my working life, you can drop a comment if you want to know more. Now, about my love life?

Nah, there’s nothing for me to talk about regarding my love life. I have yet to meet my partner or Mr Right. I know and I have faith in God that he is planning something awesome for me in future. That he have given me this wonderful kids to work with, in order for me to focus my mind in work, and on saving money for future wise. To spend quality time with my family and also to have ‘me’ time. To be able to go for vacation and tour the world? My students keep me going, they are the ones who never fail to make me smile. Hearing them calling my name melts my heart. I’m so blessed with what I have now that I couldn’t ask for more.

If God plan to send my partner tomorrow, the day after, next month, next year, two years later,.. I will be forever ready. But for now, come what may. I am not trying to stress myself. I will go with flow… upgrade myself with few courses and etc.

And,

I will try to update as much as I can.

Much love,

ladywiththehijab, herrrda

Assalamualaikum!

Hello Readers!

It’s been ages right since I last blog? I don’t have the right time or the right mood to update a post. This heart been having mixed feelings. One day it can be upsetting, one day it can be soo happy. At some point of time, I can’t even read what’s really on my mind and in my heart.

” Why am I still holding on to you when you’re not even holding on? Why am such an idiot waiting for you?”

My heart grew fonder for you, I don’t know why. It aches even more as days past by when I think of you. Trying my best to go a day without you on my mind but I failed. You’re still on my mind.

Every morning, I always hoped and longing for you to whats-app me or even apologize, but it was just my illusions.

Why are you so egoistic? Why wait for me to make a move? Why not you, first? Why it always have been me?

God, if his not the one for me,… please fade him away from my mind, my heart. I’m so weak,…

Love,.. turns human to be vulnerable.

Lots of Love,

Herda

How I wish…

Hello Readers!

I know it’s kinda crazy of me to post a lot of the rooms pictures! Yes I found all this in Tumblr! Oh yes, I do want all this in my room like the Polaroids hanging across my room, the twirling lights around my bed frames, pasting of photos around my wall! Yeah, I know mostly all of you (my close friends) have been in my room and adore how I decorate it and etc BUT I never ever satisfied with what I have done with my room. Call me crazy, Yes I am. I need my room to be ‘alive’ at all times because I love being in my room, lazing around in my bed, having my laptop on, tuning into my favorite songs in Itunes, writing in my diary and sleep! I can be in my room for the whole day and that’s why I need it to be ‘alive’. I do change my photos at all times when I’m getting sick of it. (hahaha, that’s me)

Is just that I don’t have the time, money and IDEA to do so! What I need the most is photos and I’m one lazy girl to go down to the nearest shop and develop. Plus, it needs money! Well, what I can do for now is just do some research over the net and ‘copy-cat’ some ideas and put it in my room! Surely I’ll snap some photos! (:

Love, Herda.

Shopaholic I am.

Assalamualaikum Lovelies! Hello Darlings!

So yesterday me and my mom went to the Singapore Expo in the morning (to avoid crowdedness since it’s Public Holiday), so 2nd Brother send us and I’m thankful to save up on my transport! NyehNyeh, Boo to Adult Fare. Ok lets get back to the story line, I wanted to check out Hall 6’s Orange Wedding Event which literally there’s booth which regards to wedding and etc BUT my motive dropping by is to get my Hoodies (like the one I’m wearing in the picture above) and the Indonesian Hijab Booth! Yet, we went to the Book Sale then The Robinson Sale! I’ve always looked forward to shop at The Robinson Sale because firstly they sell handbags, heels, clothes and many more! I bought heels! It’s a Platform Sandals from Pedro which only cost me below $20! I can go crazy with the heels/sandals from Pedro but I only bought one since I’m saving money for Hall 6 (hahaha)

After Robinson Sale, my mother and I went to Hall 6, the moment that we have been waiting for; Shopping till we drop (yes we did!) We went from one booth to the other booth, stop for awhile especially if there’s any dresses or hoods that attracts us! I’m thankful to have a mother whom have the same fashion taste as me because it’s easy for me to shop! Like finally I found my hood from Meem Clothings, been searching at Geylang = Joo Chiat Complex. Bought two colors; Pink (the unexpected color) and White (the one in the picture above), each cost me $22! Yes, don’t worry I shop with my own money!

Like at last we were done with our shopping at Hall 6 with dresses, hoods and hoods! Hahaha, yes I bought a lot! Then we head to Tampines to do another round of shopping *face palm* We went to Tampines Mall – Century Square – Tampines One! As usual the must go to New Look with Mom! I bought 2 pairs of shoes, 2 for $29.90! I spend wisely, yes for my work! I can’t afford to wear two type of shoes only! Ok, I’m asking too much *slaps myself* Hahaha. AND…. I bought bracelets { ohmy Herda you, how many more you want? hahaha sorry sorry can’t get enough with the cheap accessories } We head home after a long and exhausting shopping!

Oh yes, I’m a SHOPAHOLIC!

ByeBye! Waalaikumsalam!

Love,

Herda

01 April 2012

Assalamualaikum Readers! Hello Lovelies!

How have you been? I know I’ve been long gone (neh, only about a week). So here I am updating!

The very first day of April my family and I (without my 2nd brother & my 1st sis-in-law) went to Johore Bahru. Yes, it seems that every weekend we went to Johore! Heh! At first we send my sis-in-law to work then we head to Johore! We head to Larkin Bus Interchange, we shop for Islamic books and bought a magazine! YUNA on the cover! 🙂 Afterwards we had cendol (Ice Kacang’s family) at the side of the roads (you rarely get this in Singapore!!)

As usual we went to Southern City (Johore) to buy our usuals necessities and needs for our home! Last place we went was Pasar Tani ( so called pasar malam/night market) Bought not much of finger food because we had Briyani for breakfast. Mostly we bought drinks over there! NyehNyehNyeh! Then bought the pants that I want but not the exact ones, sad much :/

On the way back to Singapore we were accompanied by the beautiful sunset! Yes, All Praises to the Creator for the beautiful sunset everyday! (:

Till here readers.

Waalaikumsalam.
